Marshfield Property Renting – The New Way Forward

As Bath mortgage lenders continue to stifle activity in house sales, many prospective purchasers in and around the south west have decided against climbing the property ladder and are opting to rent instead. Faced with the prospect of finding a 20% deposit, it is no surprise the average age of the first time buyer is now 35. It is clear the next generation is moving away from buying.  Much to the “joy” of mum and dad! Many twenty somethings are delaying moving away from home until much later and when they do, they are looking to Marshfield property renting rather … Continue reading

The last three months indicate sales have now risen to approximately 70,000 per month. … Continue reading

Many argued that people would be able to advertise (and hopefully sale) their own homes themselves … Continue reading

Where Have All The Bath Property Viewers Gone?!

“There have not been many viewers on your bath property because…. it’s the summer, it’s the school holidays, it’s snowing, it’s just before Christmas, it’s just after Christmas, buyers will return in the new year / spring / autumn; we can see the greenshoots of recovery….etc, etc”. If you have sold a house in the past five years you have probably heard at least one of these phrases from your estate agent, (most of which incidentally, are valid reasons for a drop in viewing activity), but nonetheless provide little comfort if you are trying to move on. It is common … Continue reading
